Vista Las Palmas

The Vista Las Palmas community was originally developed back in the late 1950s when The Alexander Construction Co. chose William Krisel and Charles Dubois to design over 300 homes that would all sit near the base of Mt. San Jacinto. Over the years, a number of famous celebrities called Vista Las Palmas home, including Dean Martin, Peter Lawford, Kirk Douglas, and even Marilyn Monroe. Today, the community remains one of the most exclusive in all of Palm Springs and original mid-century modern homes in Vista Las Palmas are among the most expensive properties in town.

Twin Palms

Also designed by William Brisel and also built by the Alexander Construction Company, homes in the Twin Palms Estates neighborhood were mostly built back in 1957 and included private swimming pools and exactly two palms as landscaping features, hence the name of the community. With only 90 homes in Twin Palms, the neighborhood has more of a low-key vibe than other larger communities, although mid-century modern homes here are still just as desirable as any other neighborhood in Palm Springs.

Deepwell Estates

The land Deepwell Estates sits on was originally subdivided in the early ‘50s and today the neighborhood is regarded for its high concentration of mid-century modern homes that were designed by the likes of Donald Wexler, William Krisel, and Howard Lapham just to name a few. Aside from its amazing homes, the community also offers a close proximity to a variety of local amenities, including grocery stores, restaurants, shopping plazas, and even a local post office. Deepwell Estates is also a stop for BUZZ, Palm Springs’ complimentary trolley to downtown and beyond!
